Description:

According to the ILO and UNICEF, the number of child laborers across all industries has risen to 160 million worldwide. Additionally, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on already vulnerable, at-risk populations is further exacerbating the child labor problem. The U.S. Department of Labor’s 2022 List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor cites 144 products in 73 countries as having been made with child labor. These are sobering numbers – but solutions exist. Join our panel of business and NGO leaders to learn what’s working to combat child labor in global supply chains, as well as hear impact stories from the field.

Attendees Will Learn About:

  • Successful prevention programs in worker communities
  • Actions governments can take to curb child labor through policy
